Wizz Air announces Israel routes. Wizz Air the Hungarian budget airline has announced three new routes from Tel Aviv: Vilnius in Lithuania, Katowice in Poland and Cluj-Napoca.in Romania. Vilnius and Cluj flights will be twice a week while flights to Katowice will depart three times a week.
Vilnius in particular, will be very popular with Israelis as it offers a gateway to the Baltic Sea and has great historical significance as the former world centre of the Yiddish language and once populated by one of the largest Jewish communities in Europe.
