Michelin-Starred Chef Rhodes Masterfully Reinvents British Cuisine and Reinterprets Arabian Specialties at Rhodes44.

The St. Regis Abu Dhabi has opened a new Gary Rhodes restaurant, Rhodes 44, the capital’s first restaurant by the Michelin-starred celebrity chef Gary Rhodes. One of the hotel’s signature restaurants, Rhodes 44 offers guests an intimate venue for all-day contemporary dining, and is the perfect setting for Rhodes’ reinventions of classic British and European dishes, complemented by Arabian influences.

Guests can choose to dine inside the richly colourful restaurant or al fresco in the spacious garden terrace. For private celebrations or corporate affairs, Rhodes44 also offers two private dining rooms, featuring ample lounge space for entertaining.

“Rhodes 44 continues Abu Dhabi’s legacy of bridging Western and Arabian cultures, in a setting graced with local character,” said Gary Rhodes. “We’re eager to cater to Abu Dhabi’s diverse guests who have sophisticated tastes, from the large British community who want to savour favourite dishes from home, to the Middle Eastern guests who want to experience a European twist on the culinary traditions from this region.”

Gastronomic highlights at Rhodes 44 include Watermelon, Feta and Almond Salad; Asian-inspired Seared Sumac and Pistachio King Prawns; and Pan-Fried Salmon with Flageolet Beans. Guests can also choose from an exclusive Executive Menu, and “The Daily British Classic” menu that features British staples such as steak-and-kidney pudding, and decadent desserts like Sticky Toffee Pudding and Strawberry Eton Mess.

“Gary Rhodes is one of the most highly regarded chefs in the world, and we believe Rhodes 44 will quickly become Abu Dhabi’s premier destination for travellers, residents, and businesspeople seeking a relaxed yet refined dining experience in a captivating setting,” said Oliver Key, General Manager of The St. Regis Abu Dhabi.

Overseeing Gary Rhodes’ vision at Rhodes 44 is Head Chef Paul Lupton, an acclaimed star in the British culinary scene who has worked with Rhodes since 2002. Lupton joins Rhodes 44 after serving as Head Chef at Rhodes Mezzanine in Dubai.  Rhodes44 complements Rhodes’ two additional UAE restaurants Rhodes Mezzanine and Rhodes Twenty10, both located in Starwood hotels in Dubai. Bringing Gary Rhodes to The St. Regis Abu Dhabi follows the St. Regis brand’s tradition of having the world’s top chefs at its hotels around the world, including Jean Georges Vongerichten, Gordon Ramsay, and Michael Mina.
