A Norfolk pub has won a coveted title by the editors of the Good Pub Guide 2015. The Rose & Crown Pub was named Pub of the Year for the first time for its traditional pub atmosphere, beer and locally sourced food.

Manhattan was buzzing yesterday as the High Line at the Rail Yards opened, the third and most northern section of New York’s now famous skyline walkway. High Line at the Rail Yards is the culmination of 15 years of work to preserve the full length of the original mile and a half High Line, from Gansevoort Street, in the Meatpacking District, north to 34th Street, where the
historic rail line terminated at Hudson Yards.

The offer which runs from September 4th to December 31st 2014 will enable customers travelling in British Airways’ Club World to upgrade on one leg of their journey, free of charge, and qualify for all first class privileges including access to First lounges, fine wines and meals on the ground and on board, a concierge service and dedicated check-in areas at the airport.

In a deal worth around $3 billion the world’s third largest cruise operator, Norwegian Cruise Line is close to buying Prestige Cruises which owns the high luxury Oceania and Regent Seven Seas brands. In all, Prestige owns 6 ships providing 6,500 beds and this new acquisition will see Norwegian Cruise Line expanding its high end offering significantly.
