After announcing its European river cruising plans for this year the new Tauck brochure for UK market priced in Sterling showcases Tauck destinations in the USA and Canada.
Tauck is the leading name in premium quality guided tours, river cruises and small ship ocean cruises in the USA and Canada, with over 90 years of experience in the travel business.
Tauck’s approach to travel is to combine the highest standards of comfort and service with authentic experiences its guests could not organise themselves. By doing so, the company has won over 100 awards for quality, innovation and leadership and it has been featured in Travel + Leisure magazine’s list of “World’s Best Tour Operators” for the past 17 years.
The new brochure showcases a brand new tour to the Canadian Rockies and the Bugaboos where travellers can enjoy a heli-exploring experience in an alpine wonderland inaccessible to most, which was first conceived by heli-skier Arthur Tauck with Austrian alpinist Hans Gmoser in 1978.
Also new to Tauck’s North American tours is the 10-day “Wild Alaska” tour where travellers can discover remote and less-visited places of spectacular beauty and unforgettable experiences such as flightseeing the snow-capped peaks of Denali or cruising the Kenai Fjord.
A particular highlight of the North American tours are the “Ken Burns American Journeys” – a partnership with the Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Ken Burns and his long-time collaborator Dayton Duncan to craft travel experiences that incorporate the themes of Burns’ films, including “The National Parks: America’s Best Idea,” “The Civil War,” “Baseball,” “Prohibition,” “Mark Twain” and “Jazz.”
Ray Steward, UK & Ireland Country Manager commented: “Following on from our European River Cruising and Tauck Collection brochures, USA and Canada is the latest of our 2015 Sterling priced brochures. With a strong Pound, heightened interest in the US and some fantastic new products I’m really excited about this brochure. Tauck offers travellers unique experiences, such as overnight accommodation in national park lodges that normally are difficult to obtain. We also invite each guest to enjoy one complimentary night hotel stay (pre or post tour) on all of our tours and cruises.”
