The world-famous fairy tale statue, The Little Mermaid turns 100.. Known from Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale The Little Mermaid  is celebrating her 100th birthday. Denmark is getting ready to celebrate one of the world’s most beloved statues with a special birthday party 23^rd of August at the harbour in Copenhagen, where 100 live mermaids will attend.
