For the first time in the UK riders can drive like Michael Schumacher in RIMO Alpha Go Karts, the premium brand used by the F1 legend at his centres in Germany. Combined with a professionally designed 1050m European-style track, Capital Karts is promising an authentic driving experience with speeds in excess of 45mph when hitting the 80metre main straight on the track.
Only 15 minutes from central London in Barking Essex, Capital Karts is easy to get to for anyone based in the capital, or outside with easy access via public transport by road, rail, tube and overground.
There are Go Karts suitable for adults (16 years and above), children (8 to 15 years coming in January) and the disabled. Two-seater karts are also available for couples and all activity is overseen by trained staff, some of whom are high level amateur racing drivers themselves.
Formula 1 technology has been used on the impact barriers, to give a more professional experience and the surface of the track has extra grip, making for a safer and more authentic drive.
Prices start from £32.99 per person for 30 minutes of driving.
