Low cost airline EuroWings launches Business Class.
Eurowings, the budget arm of Lufthansa, will be the first low-cost airline to offer business class on selected long-haul flights for the 2018 summer schedule.
BIZclass, as it is called, will be premiered at the world’s largest travel fair ITB in Berlin at the beginning of March 2018, before going into service for the first time at the end of April 2018.
BIZclass will offer seats with more legroom, high-end service and larger seats which automatically convert to fully flat beds.
“We are currently fine-tuning the product and have some great surprises in store,” says Oliver Wagner, Eurowings CCO.
“We see strong demand for another top product from our company on routes with a higher proportion of business travel, for example on US flights from Düsseldorf to New York, Miami or Fort Myers,” says Wagner. It goes without saying that the price has to be right for the customer. Wagner, “We’ll be entering the BIZclass race with our usual budget priced Eurowings tickets.”
