Celebrity Cruises launches teenage family shore excursions for more family friendly options.

With the Family Tour Challenge, Celebrity Cruises launches teenage family shore excursions. Each tour has been developed to enable teenagers to discover the world together through entertaining, competitive and enriching experiences. Each Celebrity Cruises tour is shorter than standard excursions in duration, yet still packed with adventure and fun in order to make them more enjoyable for 12 – 17 year olds.

The new programme of excursions covers a range of activities including a Spanish family flamenco dance-off in Barcelona, learning to sail and take part in a mini regatta in Bermuda or even taking part in a gondoliering challenge through Venice.

Jo Rzymowska, managing director, Celebrity Cruises, UK and Ireland, explains:

“Family holidays are made by ensuring that all of the activities and adventures work well for children as well as parents. We’re extending our award-winning approach to children’s activities on Celebrity Cruises’ ships into our on-land shore excursion programme. The new programme has been developed to allow families to learn new skills, have fun together and embrace a little competitive spirit along the way.”

The Family Tour Challenge excursions include:
