A luxury private travel club is offering perhaps the best job ad in the world recruiting a Luxury Room Service Reviewer to evaluate room service at some of the world’s most exclusive and prestigious hotels.
Velloy an exclusive travel club for VIP events and luxury travel services, is seeking a professional reviewer following their recent expansion into travel services. The flexible role, which carries a salary of £50K a year, requires them to visit and review the room service food on offer at a minimum of four hotels a month.
The reviewer’s responsibilities will include assessing and writing up the efficiency and time of room service delivery, analysing the variety and quality of food items offered across different meals, evaluating the hotels’ ability to cater to various dietary needs and reviewing the value of cost for each meal.
In addition to salary, the position comes with a series of additional perks, including first-class travel to various global destinations, complimentary stays in luxury hotels, expenses to cover all food and drink, plus extra cash to explore the destination you’re visiting. The selected candidate will also be permitted to bring a guest to taste the room service offerings!
The advert states that no qualifications are required, however hopeful candidates must be able to demonstrate they have a love of ‘food, travel and the finer things in life’, along with the ability to communicate through high-quality written blog posts and photographs. Due to the nature of the role, applicants will need to be over the age of 21, have an up-to-date passport, and be fluent in English. Although the role is open to those with dietary requirements and allergies, the company has confirmed that applicants must not be ‘picky’ eaters as they will be required to review all meals on offer (allergy-dependent).
