Boutique weight-loss boot camp NuBeginnings is to hold the UK’s first ever joint Dog-Human Boot camp
The revolutionary boutique boot camp NuBeginnings is now launching the UK’s first ever Dog-Camp, whereby humans and their slightly portly furry four legged friends are able to attend a week long retreat to lose weight together. With the moral support of your dog, the course will provide a mental and physical overhaul for both Fido and his owner to lose weight.
Highly-regarded health and well-being expert Victoria Wills originally launched NuBeginnings as one of the first boot camps in the UK after pioneering a unique weight loss programme during her own struggle to overcome weight gain. Her innovative ideology that one must ‘change the mind before the body’ provides the core ethos of the course. After leaving her successful management consultancy career in London at a weight of 300lbs, Victoria lost over 120lbs with the programme. She realised that obesity was about addiction and studied the power of the mind, hypnosis as well as nutrition. This very same programme has now helped thousands of people to offer people a new beginning on a healthier and lighter path.
A week long course involves a number of one to one hypnotherapy sessions, as well as yoga, Pilates, hiking, wellbeing treatments and food planning. Average weight loss after a one week course is approximately:
Men between 13lbs – 1.4 stone
Women between 9lbs – 13lbs
During the exclusive Dog Bootcamp, human companions can enjoy the moral support of their best friends, while canine participants will reap the benefits of a dog nutritionist, therapist and groomer on site, in addition to daily exercise with new pals. Helping your dog to maintain their ideal body weight can extend their life by up to two years, so show them some love and start training together!
The launch week of the retreat is from the 15th – 22nd November meaning human and pooch will look fabulous in time for the festive party season. This will be followed by a New Year detox week retreat from the 14th – 21st February. Prices for the camp begin at £2,900 per week for human and dog together, inclusive of luxury accommodation, organic meals from the renowned spa chef and all training, therapy and support sessions. Each dog receives massages and grooming during the week as well as following a nutritional plan depending on the breed of the dog.
