The owners, actually a Spanish wine conglomerate, make wine and olive oil in the area around their one, splendidly secluded, boutique hotel as well as running an organic farm, and they certainly have a spa on the premises making therapeutic use of the by-products of the vine and olive tree.

The Ghan is Australia’s longest train

it’s official. The Ghan is Australia’s longest train following a recent journey down under when this famous locomotive pulled combined carriages measuring over 1 kilometre long. The legendary cross continental Ghan embarked on a record-breaking rail journey, departing Adelaide on 22nd May as Australia’s longest passenger train in over a decade. Link to a short film of the journey
