In a £1.4 million refurbishment the new Executive Lounge at Grosvenor House Hotel in London has been moved from the seventh floor to the ground floor of the hotel and is three times larger in size at over 340 square metres.

Stuart Bowery, General Manager says, “The Executive Lounge is expertly designed for our accomplished business and leisure travellers, available exclusively for Executive and Suite guests, as well as our eligible and valued Marriott Rewards Members. The Lounge forms part of a £7m investment this year, with the first set of newly refurbished Suites returning to inventory next month and further suites, plus two Royal Suites, opening in October.”

A flexible space with a variety of zones, a striking media wall is visible on entry to the Lounge, bringing nearby Hyde Park to life inside. Elegant and sophisticated in style, the Lounge is a space that is both relaxing and engaging, with the design (from GA Design International), inspired by the heritage of Grosvenor House and the proximity of Hyde Park.

Open daily from 06:00 – 00:00, the Lounge is operated by a dedicated Guest Relations team who will provide the highest levels of service for guests. Check in and check out is available in the Lounge as well as private shower and changing facilities to refresh. Additional services including high speed Wi-Fi, iPads, wireless printing and luggage storage.

An open plan kitchen with home-style food and beverage options is open to guests from breakfast through to Afternoon Tea and evening canapés. Snacks and refreshments are available throughout the day and a ‘Grab-and-Go’ station is on hand for those guests without time to spare.
