easyJet renews Houses of Parliament travel.

easyJet, today announced that its travel deal with the Houses of Parliament will be renewed for a second year.

The deal provides affordable travel for MPs, peers and other parliamentary staff and helps save money for British taxpayers. Over the past year the preferred partnership deal between easyJet and the Houses of Parliament, has resulted in more than 200 parliamentarians making over a thousand journeys with easyJet.

Cath Lynn, Commercial Director of easyJet, commented:

“We know that many MPs, Peers and Government ministers already fly with easyJet and we are pleased to help make it easier for them to do so by extending this deal.  The deal will enable even more MPs to enjoy our low fares, convenient schedule and friendly service as well as providing savings for the public purse.

“Parliamentarians are now part of the ten million business travellers a year who choose easyJet.”

The deal delivers low cost, flexible fares to MPs as well as providing support for MPs’ constituency and Commons Select Committee’s travel arrangements and is open for all MPs, Peers and Houses of Parliament staff.

Recently easyJet helped many MPs return from summer recess when Parliament was recalled.
