It seems Luton is still in favour with Britain’s leading low cost airline as it added another destination to its already numerous rosta. With easyJet flying to Rome Fiumicino from Luton, the airline is making 20,000 seats available for its 6th Italian route with over 300,000 passengers expected to fly to the country this year.

Neil Slaven easyJet’s UK Commercial Manager said:

“We’re thrilled to be adding Rome Fiumicino to the easyJet destination network from London Luton. The new flights are expected to be extremely popular with over 50,000 passengers using the flights annually.

“Rome is one of Europe’s most visited capitals and we’re sure easyJet’s new easy and affordable flights will be a hit with business and leisure travellers alike.”

Rome Fiumicino joins easyJet’s current services to Milan Malpensa, Olbia, Pisa, Venice, Catania and Naples – another recent addition which went on sale on 8 July.  Rome never fails to impress and is one of Europe’s most beautiful and most popular capital cities.

easyJet’s year-round flights to Rome Fiumicino from London Luton launch on 26 October 2014 with fares available for as little as £40.99* one way including taxes.  Flights are four days each week on a Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
